Altar with solomon's sealThis wood folk art altar was made during the 1800's. It has on it a brass symbol of the Seal of Solomon. The seal itself is believed to have been on King Solomon's ring when he ruled over Israel and is a powerful symbol in Freemasonry. Many of the lessons and teachings of Freemasonry focus on the story of King Solomon's Temple and its construction.
